The Rocky Intertidal Monitoring Program ensures the continued viability of the tidepools at Cabrillo National Monument.

The rocky intertidal area at Cabrillo National Monument is highly valued as a recreational, educational, and scientific public resource.  In order to conserve these tidepools for this and future generations, the National Park Service conducts long-term ecological monitoring under the Cabrillo Rocky Intertidal Monitoring Program (CRIMP).  Click here to download CRIMP protocol.
