April 23, 2008 - BARC Poster Day
The Nineteenth Annual BARC Poster Day will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 from 9:00 AM till 2:30 PM at the National Visitor's Center (Log Lodge, see also http://ars.usda.gov/is/nvc/). Over 65 posters will be presented by BARC scientists and High School student interns. Awards will be presented at 12 Noon.
March 2008 - Farewell Dr. Granstrom!!
Dr. David Granstrom, former Associate Director of the Animal and Natural Resources Institute has accepted a position in Colorado with the AVMA. He was an exceptional employee for ANRI for nearly 7 years. On behalf of the Beltsville AREA he will be strongly missed.

Dr. Thomas Sexton, former Director of the Animal and Natural resources Institute has been promoted to the Beltsville Area Associate Director. On behalf of employees at ANRI, he will be missed.
