National Science Board to Meet (May 21-22)
The next meeting of the National Science Board (NSB) will be held on May 21-22, 2003, at the National Science Foundation, 4201 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, Va. The public sessions and various NSB committees and task forces are scheduled in rooms 1235 and 1295 at NSF headquarters. The web address below lists the agenda and meeting specifics. Reporters are invited to attend all open sessions, subject to provisions of the Government in the Sunshine Act.
Among the discussions expected during this session will be highlights from NSF's annual Merit Review Report and the new NSF Strategic Plan for 2003-2008. The NSB will also discuss a draft report on National Workforce Policies for Science and Engineering. If approved, the report draft will be released for public comment.
