Women are on to Palin

One week ago, after the Republican National Convention had nominated John McCain and Sarah Palin, the Republican ticket enjoyed a 53 percent to 34 percent lead among white women over Democrats Barack Obama and Joe Biden, according to polling conducted for CBS and the New York Times. The theory was that Palin, the first woman nominated for vice president by the Republicans, was winning women over to the GOP. read story
