  Within McInnis Canyons NCA there are parcels of private land.  It is unlawful to enter private lands in Colorado without permission of the landowner.  In the state of Colorado private landowners are not required to fence or post their private land boundaries. The responsibility of knowing whether you are on private or public land is YOURS.   "ASK FIRST" to get access to private lands and please respect the property of others.  Always leave gates the way you found them.
