Instructions for downloading and printing images from History and Culture Photo Albums.
Downloading An Image
Under Park "History and Culture" Select "Collections" This link shows all historic photo albums although many will be repeated with other links on the History and Culture section.
Select "View Album" from the collection topic in which you are interested
Double click on the individual image you want to open
Page down to the bottom below the image and right click on the highlighted image number
From drop down window list choose “Save target as”
Enter the file location where image is to be stored and change number identification to an image name you create.
Click save
NOTE: If image will not print to a large size clearly it is because we do not have a high resolution original and are not able to provide one. Most images posted on this site should produce high quality 8" x 11" images.
Printing a saved image. All images must be downloaded and saved prior to printing.
Downloaded images may vary in size. Adjustments to length and width of the image can be made through use of a variety of photo programs available on most computers.
Open saved image by right clicking on image title and selecting one of many image program available.
Adjust the size following instructions for your specific computer and/or printer program. Make sure your printer is set to "print image to fit page" or a similar such setting or image may be far larger than your paper.
