What You'll Need

Ready to apply? Here's a quick list of all the information you'll need to complete your Peace Corps application.

In addition to basic personal information such as name and address, you will need the following:

• Social security number
• Contact information: name and information of a person through whom you can always be reached
• Details about student loans and any other outstanding financial obligations
• Educational background: names, addresses, degrees, and dates attended for all schools attended since high school (including copies of transcripts)
• Employment history (including a resume and any applicable professional licenses)
• Community/volunteer activities
• Cross cultural experience (essay)
• Motivation statement (essay)
• Three references: current job supervisor, volunteer work supervisor, personal acquaintance
