Safe Water System (SWS) Publications - Program Fact Sheets
These one-page Fact Sheets have been developed to describe some of our country programs. These provide deeper understanding of the following types of programs:

This fact sheet, developed for the World Water Forum IV in Mexico City describes the SWS project worldwide Adobe Acrobat Icon PDF 873KB).

The Zambia program Adobe Acrobat Icon PDF 392KB, with Population Services International , is a nationwide social marketing project selling approximately 2,000,000 bottles of solution, treating water for 250,000 families per year.

The Kenya project Adobe Acrobat Icon PDF 290KB, which combines a Population Services International nationwide social marketing project with local house-to-house promotion by local NGOs, including school, nursing, and micro-finance programs.

The Haiti project Adobe Acrobat Icon PDF 349KB, which is a local community faith-based organization that manufactures and sells the chlorine solution out of a rural health clinic in Northern Haiti.

The SWS has been proven to reduce diarrheal disease in people living with HIV and AIDS, and this fact sheet describes the SWS programs in four countries to improve the health of people affected by HIV and AIDS Adobe Acrobat Icon PDF 138KB.
