The American Indian Exposition is an annual public event
held each August and sponsored by the American Indian Exposition
Board. The annual event is held in Anadarko, Oklahoma at the
Caddo County Fairgrounds, adjacent to the Southern Plains
Indian Museum. The Exposition is a large tribal gathering,
open to the public, featuring ceremonial dances and competitions,
native foods, greyhound racing, carnival, pageant, parades,
