The Ranger Cabin was built in 1904 to help protect Walnut Canyon.
Guided Hikes Two ranger-guided hikes are available from Memorial Day to Labor Day. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Call (928) 526-3367 for reservations.
1) LEDGE HIKE - Three to four hour hike. Strenuous. Offered first and last Saturday of each month at 9:00am MST
2) RANGER CABIN WALK - Two hour hike. Easy. Offered at 9:00am MST, several days per week. Call for information.

Interpretive Partnership
A unique partnership between the National Park Service and the US Forest Service provides interpretive talks and guided hikes at NPS and Forest locations throughout the summer.
