Dear Applicant:

This concerns: (1) your captioned application for renewal of the license of FM Station WTKS, Cocoa Beach, Florida (File No. BRH-951002ZX) and (2) informal objections filed against the application. See Footnote 1. For the reasons set forth below, the informal objections are denied and the application granted.

The objections assert that renewal of the WTKS license is unwarranted, because the station has broadcast indecent material, specifically the Howard Stern Show. However, because the informal objections lack audio tapes or transcripts of the relevant broadcasts, the Commission cannot determine whether they provide a basis for further inquiry or denial of the renewal application. An examination of the renewal application reveals that grant would further the public interest, convenience, and necessity.

Accordingly, in light of the above and pursuant to 47 C.F.R. §0.283, the Informal Objections ARE DENIED, and the application of Press Broadcasting Company, Inc. for renewal of the license of FM Station WTKS, Cocoa Beach, Florida, (File No. BRH-951002ZX) IS GRANTED.
