U.S. ED's OSDFS ANNOUNCES INFORMATION ABOUT PROGRAMS FOR NATIVE HAWAIIAN YOUTH

The SDFS for Native Hawaiians authorized under Title IV Part A, Subpart 1, Sec. 4117 of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965, as amended by the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, is to support organizations primarily serving and representing Native Hawaiians for the benefit of Native Hawaiian Youth.

This yeare one grant was awarded to ALU LIKE, Inc., $683,000. The performance period for this grant award is 27 months.

Additional funds, contingent upon availability of funding and substantial progress, will be awarded for implementation of the project for a total performance period of 60 months and $1.5M, at $300K per Fiscal Year.
