There are two application processes for this program -- one for eligibility and one for grant funding.
You must be designated an eligible institution before applying for funding under this program.
The following application is used by this program, some Title III programs, the Title V program, and some other programs initially authorized under the College Cost Reduction and Access Act. The deadline for eligibility designation was February 20, 2009. The deadline for institutions filing a waiver of cost sharing was April 6, 2009.

Deadline for transmitting applications: May 29, 2009
FY 2009 applications for grants under this program are required to be submitted electronically using the Department's e-Grants system.
