[05.04.09] NSF Research Coordination Network Proposals Due

NSF Research Coordination Network (RCN) proposals are due July 23, 2009. A new RCN track called undergraduate biology education (RCN-UBE) was added in 2008.
[03.24.09] Blue Ribbon Review Panel Reports on the NEON Observatory Design

In February 2009, a review team led by Dr. Alan P. Covich completed a rigorous assessment of NEON's science implementation plan and scientific scope. The review was high-level and appraised the network and informatics designs against the goals of advancing theory and developing new ecological forecasting capability.
