The BLM relies on volunteers to help accomplish important projects. Each year, nearly 2,000 volunteers contribute more than 100,000 hours valued at more than $1.5 million to the BLM. No matter what your background, age, or interest, there are opportunities for you to become a BLM volunteer. You can work individually or as part of a group, and projects can range from short-term, one-day adventures to season-long commitments.
