In addition, the Federal-State Unemployment Insurance (UI) Program provides unemployment benefits to eligible workers who become unemployed through no fault of their own, and the Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP) administers four major disability compensation programs, one of which provides wage replacement benefits, medical treatment, and other benefits to federal workers or their dependents who are injured at work or acquire an occupational disease. The others are specific to occupational illnesses (e.g., pneumoconiosis (black lung)) or particular categories of workers.
