Summer family programs take place at the North Cascades Visitor Center (State Route 20 milepost 120), the Golden West Visitor Center in Stehekin near the head of Lake Chelan, and at Hozomeen near the north end of Ross Lake.

Summer hikes and canoe trips at the new North Cascades Environmental Learning Center are offered in cooperation with the North Cascades Institute

Family Fun Packs are available for loan at the Visitor Centers and make a great complement to the Junior Ranger Program for independent exploration. Ask for information about Nature's Recyclers and other kid friendly fun while visiting the park.
