BioPreferred Products and Acquisition
BioPreferredSM is a preference program that serves to increase the procurement and use of biobased products by Federal agencies. USDA is proud to be tasked with leading the BioPreferred Program.
A biobased product is a commercial or industrial product (other than food or feed) that is composed in whole or in significant part, of biological products or renewable domestic agricultural (including plant, animal, and marine materials) or forestry materials.
