Outdoor Education

The BLM has two outdoor education centers in Alaska. 

image of Campbell Creek Science Center building.The Campbell Creek Science Center in Anchorage provides educational programs, training, volunteer opportunities, and exciting outdoor education events for more than 40,000 visitors annually of all ages.  The talented and enthusiastic Science Center staff offer custom-designed, hands-on science programs that inspire a sense of wonder and increase understanding of the natural world.

 



image of Arctic Interagency Visitor CenterThe Arctic Interagency Visitor Center is located in Coldfoot at milepost 175 along the Dalton Highway. The visitor center provides information for travelers along the Dalton Highway, nightly presentations during the summer season, and dioramas of Alaska wildlife.
