A 57-year-old man was found deceased on Friday, July 18, 2008 off the Angel Falls Trail. The man has tentatively been identified as John Thomas Morgan of Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Big South Fork to hire Centennial Seasonals
Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area (NRRA) Superintendent Reed Detring is pleased to announce that the Centennial Initiative will have a positive impact on the Big South Fork area due to an increase in the park’s budget of almost $250,000. Park to Conduct Prescribed Fire in Darrow Ridge Area
