| House Va Committee Considers Key Veterans’ Measures. |

Today, the House Veterans Affairs Committee brought forth several measures of importance to our nation’s veterans. The bills considered included a measure to provide a monthly benefit payment to U.S. Merchant Mariners who served in World War II, a measure to improve specially adapted housing for disabled veterans, and several measures intended to help veterans in the workplace. I supported the favorable referral of all the measures to the full House. The specifics of the legislation are as follows:
