and staff within the Family Program. The website provides information about

- Military Award Program - Imagine
America is proud to announce a Military Scholarship Program. Visit the
link for details.
- Ross Family Survivor to Survivors Scholarship - Provides funding
to attend Ramapo College of New
Jersey. This scholarship provides funding for college expenses
(up to full funding of tuition, room and board for up to four years) to
educate children of members of the United States military who perished while
serving their country during the current conflicts. The program
is open to students throughout the country.
- National Military Family Association - This site has useful information for military families as well as a scholarship program for spouses of military members.
- MilitaryScholar.org - This site offers a scholarship for children of military members.
- The Horatio Alger Scholarship Program - The Horatio Alger Association of Distinguished Americans announced that in 2007 it will award $5,000 military scholarships to U.S. veterans of the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts. September 30, 2007 is the deadline for all scholarship applications. Last year the association gave out over 1,400 such scholarships. Recipients are chosen based on their perseverance in overcoming adversity. Additional consideration is given to financial need, academic record, commitment to pursue a college education and desire to contribute to society.
