Air Quality Impact Analysis Supplement Fact Sheet

  • In the air quality model, suspended particulates, nitrous oxide and sulfur dioxide are currently and would continue to remain below Wyoming and Federal standards.
  • Pinedale and neighboring communities could see significant visibility impacts.
  • The air quality model predicted “significant” visibility impacts to the Bridger Wilderness and Fitzpatrick Wilderness. The other Class I airsheds would not be significantly impacted. In this context, “significant” means a noticeable change to visibility.
  • The Supplemental Air Quality Report included Class I airsheds associated with: Bridger Wilderness, Fitzpatrick Wilderness, Washakie Wilderness, and Teton Wilderness. Also Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park.
