Restoration

Disturbances such as fire or well pad construction require restoration to prevent soil loss and establishment of invasive plants, and in most cases, reseeding is an essential part of the process. Different ecological areas require different seed mixes depending on the dominant vegetation type and soil types. When the amount of area disturbed does not warrant reseeding, encroachment from the surrounding vegetation is typical.
