Environmental Education

BLM Wyoming's Environmental Education program is growing. Specialists throughout the state are available for classroom presentations and discussion on virtually any resource management or BLM-related topic. Specific teacher and student resources are being developed for various programs.

Hands on the Land/NHTIC
Hands on the Land, a new nationwide environmental education program, is being implemented in Casper by the Oregon Trail Elementary School and the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center.

BLM collaborated with the Wyoming State Museum in developing several Discovery Trunks as part of the museum’s education outreach services.
