Habitat Restoration
Alaska Partners for Fish & Wildlife Program
TThe Partners for Fish and Wildlife Program partners with landowners,
municipalities, boroughs, and other organizations to restore fish
and wildlife habitats on private lands. Established in 1995, the program
has provided technical assistance and matching federal funds to more
than 350 projects to restore stream banks, uplands, wetlands, and
other habitats used by Alaska wildlife. Program biologists are based
at 4 field offices across Alaska. To discuss potential projects in
your area of the state, go to our Juneau, Kenai, Anchorage, or Fairbanks
Field Office pages.
