Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.

Habitat for Humanity International is deeply saddened by the death of Jack Kemp. Kemp supported Habitat for Humanity’s work for more than a decade by serving on its international board of directors, chairing two capital campaigns, and helping to call attention to the need for affordable housing. His legacy lives on in the families who live in better conditions today because of his efforts.

National Women Build Week
During May 2-10, more than 7,000 women volunteers will take the challenge to help eliminate poverty housing. Find out how you can join in the effort at one of more than 200 Habitat build sites across the United States.
