Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is a 100% fee park. Which means every dollar you spend on fees in the park stays in the park. Those fees are used to accomplish a variety projects in the park.

Those projects include the protection of the parks’ road investment through overlays, patching, chipseal, drainage, and erosion control; enhancement of accessibility for the physically challenged to park resources and buildings, upgrading of park campgrounds, and amphitheaters; rehabilitation of park structures; and repair of failing elements in utility systems parkwide. Funded projects increase the quality of the visitor experience and enhance the protection of park resources.

The entrance fee to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument is $8 per private vehicle or motorcycle and $4.00 per person for those entering by foot or bicycle. Admission is for seven days. No refunds are given due to inclement weather.

All forms of the National Parks & Federal Recreational Lands Passes (America the Beautiful Passes) as well as Golden Age, Golded Access, and Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument Annual Passes are honored and cover entrance to the park. 

Tent and RV camping in the Twin Peaks campground is available on a first come-first served basis for $12 each night. Senior and Access passes are honored for a 50% discount. There are no electric, water, or sewage hook-ups; however, a dump station with potable water is available, and the restrooms have flush toilets and running water.

Primitive tent camping is available on a reservation only basis for $8 each night in Alamo Canyon Campground. Reservations must be made in person at the Kris Eggle Visitor Center on the first day of your stay. Senior and Access passes are honored for a 50% discount on camping fees.

Some Backcountry areas have re-opened for hiking but overnight camping is prohibitied indefinitely due to an increase in illegal border activity. Please check with the Kris Eggle Visitor Center for more information.
