 Fine Particulate Continuous Monitoring

There is a need for continuous real-time fine particulate monitoring to alert the public about the quality of air, to develop quality state implementation plans, and to support ongoing fine particulate studies. The current monitoring methods do not consistently provide data and are not necessarily standard across the country.

This Action Team does in-depth nationwide comparisons of the data to determine whether the data quality meets or exceed acceptance criteria. If not, the team facilitates technological changes.
