Challenges
The major challenge with the implementation of the ABC alliance this year was related to personnel
turnover.
The Director of Education for the Western Slope ABC, who is the primary point of contact for the
alliance, left for another opportunity and was not immediately replaced. When the new Director of
Education arrived, she was not intimately familiar with the alliance or safety and health issues
relevant to the industry.
Upcoming Milestones
The alliance has expired. A closeout meeting will be held with the ABC representatives to determine
whether there is interest in forming another alliance that would mutually benefit both parties.
