(ABC) March 9, 2008 Alliance Background: Date Signed January 19, 2004 and the agreement was renewed on March 9, 2006. Overview The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Associated Builders and Contractors, Inc. (ABC) agreed to establish an Alliance to promote safe and healthful working conditions for employees in the construction industry, particularly hard-to-reach and youth workers.   Implementation Team and Contributors: OSHA and ABC conducted two meetings by both teleconferencing and formal personal meetings. These meetings were conducted on – March 20, 2007; and January 11, 2008. Evaluation Period March 9, 2007, through March 9, 2008   Events and Products: Training and Education FY 2007 Event During this period the OSHA CAS participated in an OSHA 30-hour course conducted by the ABC.   Product None   Outreach and Communication FY 2007 Event ABC’s Florida East Coast Chapter members were registered for the OSHA Region IV enewsletter.
