April 20 - 25, 2009
Bogotá, Barranquilla & Cartagena
The Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the
Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce is to host a business
mission to Bogota, Barranquilla and Cartagena Colombia, April
20-25. This mission is part of the Greater Miami Chamber’s
Americas Linkage Program that facilitates business development
opportunities in the Americas through a series of business
missions throughout the Western Hemisphere. The Program includes
country briefings, seminars and networking opportunities. The
objective of our mission is to connect our delegates with
business leaders from private companies, business organizations
and/or government to offer them our services (and to a small
degree products). We hope that first time visitors will consider
Colombia as a future market for their goods and services, and
current exporters strengthen their ties with Colombia and their
business contacts. During our visit, on April 20, the Chamber
will organize a seminar in Bogota titled “How to do Business in
Florida” topics will include: how to open/establish a company in
the U.S., immigration, franchising opportunities among others.
The mission dates will be as follow: Bogota (April 20-21),
Barranquilla (April 22-23) and Cartagena (April 24).
The Americas Linkage 2009 will provide opportunities for
business leaders and professionals to share best practices in
areas relevant to international business – both locally and
abroad. The conference also presents an excellent opportunity to
meet Latin American and Caribbean business executives interested
in doing business in Florida.
