US GAAP - Investment Management Taxonomy in EDGAR

In continuing support of the SEC's Voluntary Program for Reporting Financial Information Using XBRL, the newly finalized Investment Management (IM) and Investment Management Terms taxonomies have been added to the list of supported US GAAP taxonomies in EDGAR. Beginning August 8, 2005 the IM taxonomies will provide accounting terms and reporting structures required by certain US GAAP-based investment management companies for filers to reference in their unofficial XBRL instance documents. IM taxonomy namespaces, recommended prefixes, locations of actual schema and linkbase files are given below. Please note that these taxonomy documents should not be submitted with a submission that contains the XBRL instance as these documents will reside in EDGAR
