The National Sustainable Design Expo featuring EPA’s P3 Award

P3 Awards - People, Prosperity, and the Planet(Washington, D.C.) - On April 24 and 25, more than 350 college and university students will head to the nation’s capital to compete for the EPA’s Third Annual P3 (People, Prosperity, Planet) Award on the National Mall in Washington, DC.  The National Sustainable Design Expo features technologies that could keep your car moving with fuel made from algae, heat and cool your home with solar power, give the world clean drinking water and much more. This is an opportunity to discover innovative, cutting-edge technologies developed by university students and their faculty advisors, and learn what nonprofit organizations and government agencies are doing to advance sustainability. The competition will culminate in an awards ceremony to highlight the projects selected to receive EPA’s P3 Award with a possible $75,000 grant. The Expo is free and open to the public. This year, the Expo is co-sponsored by the Cloud Institute for Sustainability Education exit EPA.
