SRU SERIES CONDENSING FLUE GAS WASTE HEAT RECOVERY UNITS

Natural Gas fired equipment such as boilers, water heaters, dryers and furnaces typically exhaust 15 to 20% (or more) of the energy that is consumed.

The Sidel SRU Flue Gas Condenser unit ( condensing economizer) is designed to reduce the operating cost of the forced draft or induced draft equipment, by recovering ALMOST ALL of this waste heat that is normally lost up the chimney.

When this recovered heat is used with the building or facilities heated water requirements, fuel savings of 10 to
15% can be realized.

Fuel savings of a typical economizer heating boiler feedwater is approximately 2 to 5%. The Sidel SRU flue gas condenser is not a typical economizer.
