Port of Honolulu - Honolulu, Hawai'i

Wildlife Shipment at Port

The Designated Port of Honolulu, Hawai'i, includes Honolulu, Kona and Hilo international airports, Hickam Air Force Base, the Honolulu international mail facility, the Honolulu Foreign Trade Zone, and the Honolulu Harbor. Current regulatory and statutory requirements for conducting law enforcement operations at the Port are predicated on the need to monitor air cargo, ocean cargo and international mail facilities and passenger arrivals; interdict illegal trade as a function of monitoring the legal wildlife trade; enhance law enforcement coordination and Service partners by participate in cross-training; receiving referrals of illegal seizures from partnering agencies; conducting cooperative outreach; and conduct collateral inspections.
