YouthRising Grant Program
The Office of Juvenile
Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Youth Service America are offering grants
of up to $2,000 to support projects that engage high-risk and gang-involved
youth in volunteer service. The goal of this initiative is to design and
implement appropriate and creative service projects that engage such youth in
service and develop their capacity for leadership and civic engagement. Projects should be youth-led. Faith- and community-based groups that have
prior experience and documented success working directly with high-risk and/or
gang-involved youth ages 12-25 are eligible to apply. The application deadline is 5:00 p.m., E.T.,
