Paris Air Show 2009

June 15-21, 2009

Celebrating 100 years, the International Paris Air Show--Le Bourget, has evolved into what it is today--the world's premier air and space show.  First held in 1909, the show has evolved over the years, moved and grown with the times, anticipated the future of aviation and contributed to the harmonious growth of our industry.  Brought into being at the start of the 20th century by a group of brilliant, passionate aviation engineers, the Paris Air Show has remained the gathering of the professional aerospace industry.

The U.S. Pavilion will once again be the focus of many visiting delegations and civil and military aviation decision makers.

In 2007, the U.S. Pavilion, a common effort of the U.S. Commercial Service and the American Embassies around the world, was comprised of 219 companies.  The Opening Ceremony was attended by many VIP's, including the U.S. Ambassador, the U.S. President's Representative, the Administrator of NASA, and the Director of the FAA as well as many U.S. Senators, high level civil and military VIPs and foreign delegations.
