The Starling (Sturnus vulgaris) is a common bird found throughout North America and over much of Europe. Sometimes it is considered a pest because it drives away other small birds with its large, noisy flocks. These flocks can number in the hundreds of thousands.
This bird is both clever and talented. It can imitate the songs of other birds and even some street noises! Their own song consists of a chuckle and wheeze sound. They eat insects, but are also resourceful at exploiting other available foods when necessary.
