Tactical Plan:
In Fiscal Year 2008 (October 1, 2007 – September 30, 2008), we commit to you that we will:
1. Launch VA’s VetBiz Verification Program to ensure businesses registered in the Vendor Information Pages database that are seeking to participate in Public Law 109-461 opportunities are owned and controlled by eligible individuals (CVE Objective 4.4) ;
2. Publish CVE’s 2009-2013 Strategic Plan
(CVE Objective E-4.a);
3. Complete the Certified Business Development Specialists’ training program under the auspices of faculty from George Mason University’s Mason Enterprise Center School of Public Policy (CVE Objective E-1);
4. Complete the redesign of the VetBiz.gov web portal (CVE Objective E-1);
5. Complete revisions to the VetBiz.gov Vendor Information Pages database and the interface with the Central Contractor Registration (CVE Objective E-3);
6. Obtain approval from the Office of Management and Budget to develop formal, recurring feedback on CVE products and services (CVE Objective E-4.d); and
7. Co-sponsor the 4th Annual National Veterans’ Business Conference in collaboration with the Interagency EO 13360 Work Group (CVE Objective E-1). |
