WASHINGTON, D.C.- The Justice Department announced today that the U.S. Department of Justice Community Relations Service Director, Sharee M. Freeman, will speak to the National Native American Law Enforcement Association (NNALEA) as part of a luncheon panel at its 12th Annual Training Conference on October 29, 2004, from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Conference will be held October 28 - 30, 2004, at the Aladdin Hotel, 3667 Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109.

The Community Relations Service, along with other Department of Justice and federal agencies, have a strong partnership with NNALEA to address critical law enforcement issues that concern Native American communities.

Hundreds of Native American Law Enforcement representatives, tribal and elected officials, community leaders, criminal and juvenile justice professionals, emergency planners, first responders, prosecutors and attorneys from across the country will attend.

CRS is a unique federal agency dedicated to preventing and resolving conflicts arising from racial and ethnic issues.
