Guide to Law Online

Guide to Law Online is a resource that was created and is maintained by the U.S. Law Library of Congress. This website is an annotated guide to online legal and government resources for the United States and other countries. There are four sections to this guide and the following is a brief description of each section:

  • International and Multinational contains general websites for finding information about the constitutions, government executives, judicial and legislative branches of countries throughout the world. This page also links to online law reviews and treaty databases.

  • Nations of the World provides links to websites by the country name containing information regarding the country's constitution, executive, judicial and legislative bodies as well as legal guides and general resources for each country.

  • U.S. States and Territories provides links to resources for the constitution, executive, legislative and judicial bodies of each state and territory. There are also links to legal guides and general resources specific to the state.
