A major responsibility of the U.S. Department of Education (ED) is the
administration of programs. To help educators, policymakers, and
citizens understand these programs, ED publishes each year a "Guide to
U.S. Department of Education Programs."
You can print out the entire Guide 
PDF (4.64M), which provides
information on all programs administered by the Department. Or you can
go to any program home page and print pages of the Guide for just that
particular program. (You can find these printable program pages in the
"Program at a Glance" box on any program home page.)
You can also use ED.gov to find information about ED programs -- their
purpose, funding, contacts, and more. You can sort ED programs by office, title, subject, CFDA number, assistance type, and eligibility. You can also search the Guide, or look for archived programs.
