EXTRACTOR is a program that extracts data from
formatted and labeled MODFLOW head or drawdown files or
from MODFLOW-GWT concentration or velocity files. The
user specifies the number of rows, columns, and layers in the
target data file, the desired time step or move number, and the
range of rows, columns, and layers for which data should be
extracted and written to a new text file. The new text file can
then be imported into other data-analysis programs.
EXTRACTOR is a single executable file. It has been
compiled for and tested on MS Windows-XP and Windows 2000
Professional. The program was compiled with Compaq Visual Fortan
6.0. There are no installation instructions (you simply need the
executable file below). For instructions on how to use the
program, see "Documentation" listed below.
The source code for EXTRACTOR is included here to allow for compilation on other operating systems or optimization using other compilers. It is written in standard Fortran-90, and thus requires a compiler capable of using this form of code. (Recommened method for downloading -- right click on source code link, then "Save Link Target As...", then give file desired name if other than "extract.f")

Document Accessibility: Adobe Systems Incorporated has information about PDFs and the visually impaired. This information provides tools to help make PDF files accessible. These tools convert Adobe PDF documents into HTML or ASCII text, which then can be read by a number of common screen-reading programs that synthesize text as audible speech. In addition, an accessible version of Acrobat Reader 5.0 for Windows (English only), which contains support for screen readers, is available. These tools and the accessible reader may be obtained free from Adobe at Adobe Access.
