P3 Research Project Search
The National Sustainable Design Expo featuring EPA's P3 (People, Prosperity and the Planet) competition and awards support teams of college and university students who compete to design and build sustainable technologies. There are 43 P3 Phase I teams planning to exhibit at this year's expo.
In addition to the P3 team projects, government, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations exhibit their sustainable technologies, designs, and ideas. The Expo co-sponsor, Beyond Benign, will also be hosting sustainability education activities for all ages.
The National Sustainable Design Expo and P3 event are open to the general public.

Saturday, April 18, through Monday, April 20, 2009
National Mall, Washington, DC
A large tent between 3rd and 4th Streets, near the eastern end of the National Mall (close to the Capitol Building) will serve as the exhibition area for the Expo.
