Webinar Series: "Getting Your Products through Mexican Customs”

Customs issues are one of the top market access challenges that U.S. companies face when exporting their products overseas.  Between 2006 and 2009, U.S. exporters made numerous customs errors when shipping to Mexico, including mistakes in classification, valuation, NAFTA certificates of origin, documentation, packaging and labeling, and product marks.  If not planned for and managed properly, these errors can cost American companies hundreds and thousands of dollars each year worldwide in customs fees, legal costs, and lost sales.

  • Thursday, May 28th, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. CST. 
  • The purpose this webinar is to educate exporters on the essential documentation required when exporting to Mexico, as well as resources and assistance through the process. 

  3.            Sending Samples to Mexico: Trade Shows and Temporary Imports, Part 3 of 4

  • Thursday, June 25th, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. CST. 
  • The purpose of this webinar is to provide important information on what is required to successfully send product samples and temporary imports into Mexico for a variety of events such as promotional activities and trade shows.  

4.            Benefits of Leveraging Inbound Warehouses and Trading Companies (Comercializadoras)When Selling to Mexico, Part 4 of 4

  • Thursday, July 30th, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m. CST. 
  • The purpose of this webinar is to discuss how to leverage inbound warehouses and trading companies (comercializadoras) to increase and facilitate your market penetration and to enhance your supply chain management.
