Renée Roland Crittendon - Chief of Staff and Senior Legal Advisor for Spectrum & International
Prior to joining the Commissioner’s office in June 2007, Ms. Crittendon served as Deputy Bureau Chief in the Wireline Competition Bureau. Prior to that, she was Chief of the Wireline Bureau’s Competition Policy Division. Ms. Crittendon has managed proceedings on various matters, including local competition, broadband and IP-enabled services. Ms. Crittendon has also managed a number of complex rulemaking and adjudicatory proceedings, including petitions for forbearance by incumbent local exchange carriers, wireline and wireless telecommunications mergers and applications by the regional Bell Operating Companies to provide long distance service. Prior to becoming Chief, Ms. Crittendon was Acting Deputy and Assistant Chief, and before that, a senior attorney advisor in the Bureau. Ms. Crittendon also served as Associate Division Chief of the Mobility Division of the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau.

Prior to joining the Commission, Ms. Crittendon served as Deputy Chief Counsel – Telecommunications for Prism Communication Services, Inc. Prior to joining Prism, Ms. Crittendon spent several years in private practice with the firms of, now DLA Piper, and Leventhal Senter & Lerman, PLLC. Ms. Crittendon received her law degree from the George Washington University National Law Center and a received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Georgetown University.

Rudy Brioché - Legal Advisor for Media Issues
Rudy Brioché, legal advisor for media issues, most recently served as legislative counsel to Senator Frank R. Lautenberg (D-NJ). In the Senate, his portfolio included business, communications, judiciary and labor. He worked on the development of legislation regarding municipal broadband, spectrum management, the DTV transition, VOiP, broadcast indecency, sponsorship identification, the UHF discount and LPFM. Prior experience includes serving as counsel to the NAACP Washington Bureau, law clerk to U.S. District Judge Andre M. Davis and to Chief Judge Robert M. Bell of the Court of Appeals of Maryland, and practicing commercial litigation in Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and New York. Rudy has served as an international monitor of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission.

Rudy received his Master in Public Policy from Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government, where he worked for the late Judge A. Leon Higginbotham and served as editor-in-chief of the Harvard Journal of African American Public Policy. Rudy also earned his J.D. from the University of Maryland Law School, where he was student body president and editor of the ABA's business law journal, The Business Lawyer. Rudy, a native of Brooklyn, received his B.A. from Rutgers College.

Mark Stone - Legal Advisor for Wireline Issues (Detailed)
Mark Stone most recently served as Deputy Managing Director at the Commission, managing a variety of financial and Universal Service Fund matters. Prior to that, he served as Deputy Chief of the Telecommunications Consumers Division of the Enforcement Bureau. In that capacity, he supervised investigations and actions to enforce the Commission's rules that protect people with disabilities and low income recipients of universal service funds. Mark began his career at the Commission as an auditor in the Accounting and Audits Division of the former Common Carrier Bureau.

Prior to joining the Commission, he worked with the Office of Inspector General of the General Services Administration. Mark received a B.B.A. from James Madison University and a J.D. from the George Mason University School of Law.

Tajuana Dill - Staff Assistant
Tajuana Dill is Staff Assistant to the legal advisors in Commissioner Adelstein's office. Her responsibilities include scheduling appointments and coordinating their travel needs. Prior to joining the FCC, Ms. Dill was a secretary at Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) for two and 1/2 years, where she assisted the Vice President and Director of Finance. Katie Yocum - Confidential Assistant and Director of Outreach
Katie Yocum serves as Confidential Assistant and Director of Outreach. As Commissioner Adelstein's Confidential Assistant, she is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Commissioner's schedule. In her role as Director of Outreach for the Commissioner's office, she manages the Office's interaction with a wide and diverse group of organizations, governments, individuals, and companies that are interested in the role of the Commission and its impact on the telecommunications and media marketplace. Prior to joining the Commission, Ms. Yocum worked as the Campaign Coordinator for the Media and Democracy Coalition, a national coalition of nonprofit organizations committed to amplifying the voices of the public in shaping media and telecommunications policy. She received a degree in Media Studies from the University of Illinois College of Communications where she studied at the Institute for Communications Research.
