Is weather the same as climate? Weather is what is happening daily in your region or area while climate is the weather that occurs in your region or area over a period of years. The weather in your region during the seasons (spring, summer, fall, winter) is the climate of your region. Weather and climate are interrelated and are controlled by what is happening in our atmosphere. Through the study of weather scientists are able to monitor climate changes globally.
