Submission deadline for Feb 10 First Impressions is Mon, Jan 26, 2009.

First Impressions provides SVASE entrepreneurs with the opportunity to present to and receive formal structured feedback from prominent members of the entrepreneurial and venture funding communities. This is a great way to gain first hand experience on pitching for Venture Capital, make connections with VCs and Angels, and get a clear understanding on how to move your business forward.  Panelists for the Feb 10 event are from Keynote Ventures, Voyager Capital and Sand Hill Angels.

Startups wishing to be considered to present at the Feb 10 First Impressions should send a copy of their Presentation to the First Impressions Program Chair, Chad Salinas, at chad.salinas@najdorf.com by latest Monday, Jan 26, 2009. (Chad can also provide you with a copy of the SVASE Funding Pitch slide deck - make sure to email him for your copy well in advance, and see the FAQ's following panelist bios for answers to most of your questions)

"My presentation at First Impressions led not only to a number of valuable investor and VC contacts, but also brought me closer to other entrepreneurs, with a valuable exchange of experiences. In addition, winning the popular vote was a key affirmation that the pitch worked." Jan Samzelius, CEO, ByteShield (Byteshield subsequently raised an undisclosed amount from Angels in July 2008)
