Form 477 Resources for Filers
Important News
- The new Web-based electronic Form 477 filing system is now available.
- The filing deadline has been extended -- to Monday, March 16, 2009 --
for the first semi-annual filing of the revised Form 477.
- Form 477 reporting obligations now apply to interconnected Voice
over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Providers. Broadband subscribership information
must now be reported by Census Tract.

- The FCC’s Form 477 collects data on local telephone
and broadband Internet access lines from providers on a
semi-annual basis (usually, on March 1 and September 1).
Form 477 Electronic Filing System
The new Web-based interface through which filers will submit their Form
477 data has been activated and is available. Users may
access it through the Electronic Filing link on this page or on the FCC Forms page.

FCC Registration Numbers
Filers now need to have an FCC Registration Number (FRN) and associated
password in order to make the Form 477 filing. To get an FRN and for more information, visit the FCC Registration page.
